I’ve always been told that if there’s one arena where you must see an NHL game, it’s the Bell Centre in Montreal. With puck drop for the big divisional game between the Sabres and Habs still a few hours away, I haven’t experienced the game yet, but the walk to the Arena was like getting a history lesson on the Canadiens.
The plaza outside the building featured statues, history on the team and monuments for each of the retired numbers. Here's a brief look:
