Buffalo Sabres | Press Release
Schools from around the community are sending us their artwork and essays as a way for local school children to show their school spirit. As more schools and local children write in, the overflow will be displayed in the Pavilion area of the arena.
Current displays in the hallway include:
*Parkdale Elementary, East Aurora, 2nd grade: Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Fein's classes have drawn pictures and Sabres logos, urging the players onto to more wins
*Sheridan Hill Elementary School in Clarence, 3rd grade: Mrs. Fox's class, have written essays as part of a composition class.
The Sabres are encouraging teachers and children in Western New York to send in their artwork, well wishes, and thoughts as part of the “Spirit for the Sabres" program. As many as possible will be displayed for the players and fans in the Pavilion area of the arena.
