Sabres Select Center in Fourth

With the 117th pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, the Buffalo Sabres selected center Felix Schutz.

Schutz (5'9'', 182 lbs.) appeared in 65 games for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League during the 2005-06 season. His 52 points - 21 goals and 31 assists - earned him a place on the QMJHL's Rookie All-Star team.

A native of Germany, Schutz played 24 games for the Landshut Canibals during the 2004-05 season, scoring one goal and three points.
