Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that the club has accepted an arbitrator's decision to award Adam Mair a one-year, $675,000 contract. Mair had his case heard on August 4, and was awarded the contract on August 6.

Buffalo accepted the award immediately following the arbitrator's ruling as it was under $1 million.
The 27-year-old Mair collected seven points (2+5) in 40 regular season games for Buffalo last season. In three playoff games, Mair posted a plus/minus rating of minus-2 and five shots on goal.
Since being acquired in a trade from Los Angeles in exchange for Erik Rasmussen, Mair has scored 44 points (14+30) and 339 penalty minutes in 200 games with the Sabres. Mair has 49 points (16+33) and 422 penalty minutes in 252 career games.
