The Buffalo Sabres and MSG (MSG Network and FSN NY) announced today that selected Sabres games will be rebroadcast as part of the new "Sabres Rewind" program.
Selected games each month will air in a condensed two-hour format on the day following the live telecast.
Following is the schedule for October:
Saturday, October 14: New York Rangers at Buffalo, 7 p.m. (Live)
Sunday, October 15: Sabres Rewind, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Saturday, October 21: Buffalo at Boston, 7 p.m. (Live)
Sunday, October 22: Sabres Rewind, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Thursday, October 26: Buffalo at New York Islanders, 7:30 p.m. (Live)
Friday, October 27: Sabres Rewind, 12 Noon-2 p.m.
Saturday, October 28: Atlanta at Buffalo, 7 p.m. (Live)
Sunday, October 29: Sabres Rewind, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Sabres Rewind will be available to MSG cable subscribers in all areas of New York state that normally receive Sabres telecasts.
In addition to being the home of the Sabres, MSG's award-winning programming line-up boasts more than 300 live sports events a year, including the Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Liberty, Red Bulls, college football and college basketball games. In addition, the network will launch new original programming this fall, including the 10-part documentary "The 50 Greatest Moments at Madison Square Garden."
