Goaltender Jocelyn Thibault visits a local Buffalo school system to promote reading.

The Buffalo Sabres in conjunction with Perry's Ice Cream today announced they will once again be sponsoring the "Shoot! Score! Read More!" program for the 2007-08 season. 
 
The "Shoot! Score! Read More!" program consists of various Buffalo Sabres players along with Sabretooth and Perrywinkle (Perry's Mascot) making 10 appearances at local schools throughout the year to help promote reading.

A short story will be read by one of the Sabres to the children, with a question and answer period to follow. Students will then have an opportunity to get a group photo with both the Sabres player and the mascots.
 
The next appearance will take place on Monday, November 19, at Ledgeview Elementary School with Daniel Paille.
