The latest interview was with Buffalo Sabres captain Brian Campbell:

What is your favorite thing about Buffalo?

"I think the closeness of the people and their ties to the community."

How is it like playing with some rookies?

"It is more difficult at times. It depends on whoever that rookie is, whether he is Sidney Crosby or somebody else.  But you learn along the way and I think you enjoy helping them out and hopefully learning from them. Hopefully they can learn a lot from you too."

Who was the greatest NHL defenseman?

"Bobby Orr"

How did you come up with the spin-o-rama?

"I did it as a kid. It was something my dad and I worked on playing hockey in the early morning. It comes and goes in spurts but it’s something that I think is effective in some areas of the game."

What was the most memorable speech a coach ever gave you?

"I don’t know if I can say it on the air...

[Laughs]

"There was one back in juniors that was pretty good. It was Brian Kilrae’s in the playoffs. He told us if we won he was going to take us out to a restaurant to have a good time. It got everybody fired up pretty good."

What is your favorite thing to do besides playing hockey?

"Is reading boring? I don’t do too much. I read, I go home, I sleep. I go out for nice dinners I guess."

Why do you think Spacek, Connolly, and yourself work so well on the power play together?

"Probably a lot is attributed to Timmy. He gives everybody a lot more time and space. Spacek makes some great passes and is a great shooter and I just try to fit in there. But a lot of it leads from what Timmy does and how much time and patience he gives everybody else."

Why don't more teams use a rotating captain system? Do you feel it unites the team or causes the players to compete too much with each other?

"I think teams have their leaders and go with that guy. But I don’t think there is a right or a wrong way. For us, we went through a transition, and I think it’s good. For teams that a guy is going to be there and has stuck around for a while, you can rely on that person to be a leader and carry that throughout the year."

If you could change one NHL rule, which one would it be?

"Shooting the puck over the glass."

What was your most embarrassing moment that's hockey related?

[Laughs]

"Shooting the puck over the glass."

Why do you wear No. 51?

"I was given it."

Who is the most dangerous player in the NHL?

"Everybody is going to say Crosby. I would say Ovechkin."

Who is the most talented player you've ever played with?

"Probably Timmy Connolly."
