Buffalo Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres are raising awareness and showing the WNY community how important issues are that affect women and girls by supporting the WNY Women’s Fund – the organization that invests in solutions to issues and needs of special significance to women and girls.The first event on March 6 – An Evening for Women and Girls features forward Paul Gaustad, Sabres alumni, scouts and coaches, who will discuss their particular view of hockey. After brief remarks, guests can visit key personnel at various hockey related stations. The event includes dinner, children’s activities and plenty of discussion about hockey. The second event on March 10 - $20 Pink Hat Promotion – is an in-game event in which fans can purchase a special pink player-autographed hat for only $20.

Fans Attending the Sabres game can buy a special player-autographed pink hat
The WNY Women’s Fund: The fund provides grants to local community programs that result in systematic change and help women and girls develop self reliance and become economically self-sufficient. The Fund is collaboration between the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County.
