For the sixth straight year, teams battled in the full-day tournament in downtown Buffalo with a crowd of approximately 4,000 people in attendance. Opening games of the tournament began at 9 a.m. with championship games ending at 6 p.m.
The tournament has seen a massive growth since its inception in 2001. That year, only 32 teams competed.
The demand for the tournament has become so high, that a separate Legends Division street hockeyfest has been scheduled for Sep. 20, open to men and women ages 18 and up. Click here for more information on the Buffalo Sabres Adult Street HockeyFest.
