The Portland Pirates could not ask for a better start from rookie Tim Kennedy.

To keep his point-streak alive, Kennedy added a pair of goals and as many assists in back-to-back games against the Norfolk Admirals this weekend.

He is two points behind Mark Mancari (14 points) on the Pirates to lead the team.

Netminder Jhonas Enroth has a streak of his own to maintain.

Playing both games in Norfolk this weekend, Enroth extended his winning streak to three games on the year – improving his record to 3-1-0.

That includes a 4-0 shutout victory on Friday against the Admirals in which Enroth turned away all 29 shots he faced.

The shutout was his first of the season and AHL career.

He kept the Admirals scoreless for a total of 85:33 before finally surrendering a goal in the second period on Saturday night.

The rookie goalie finished with a career-high 35 saves in Portland’s 5-3 win to sweep Norfolk.

He has earned a .925 save percentage and 2.51 goals against average on the year.

Mancari is first on the team in overall scoring and ranks fourth in the AHL that category.
