Due to a delay in compiling player evaluations, the announcement of the rosters for this year’s Scotty Bowman Showcase will now take place this Friday (March 20) at 4 p.m. The complete rosters for all four teams will be posted on www.sabres.com.

The fifth annual Scotty Bowman Showcase, consisting of two all-star hockey games between high school aged players from Buffalo and Rochester, will take place on Thursday, April 9 at HSBC Arena. Admission and parking for the games will be free.

The first game of the evening will begin at 6 p.m. between the junior teams from each city, followed by the seniors game at 8 p.m. The winner of the second game will be awarded the Scotty Bowman Cup.

The event is named after former Buffalo Sabres coach Scotty Bowman, the winningest coach in NHL history. He will be on hand to present the Bowman Cup to the winner of the senior game.
