Bring any equipment – including audio, video, game, computer and computer periphals to the store’s location in Williamsville at 5195 Main Street and help conserve resources in Western New York.
The program will run Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday June 7, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“Putting your outdated electronics equipment to the curb will result in them ending up in a local landfill. By bringing them to an authorized E-cycle event, the equipment will be broken down, reused or disposed of properly. Just one 27” tube TV improperly disposed of can leech as much as 8 lbs of lead into the soil and water table,” according to Stereo Advantage’s Web site.
Last year, the program collected 50 tons of materials that were recycled.
