BROADCAST SCHEDULE |
The 41 home games that will air on MSG (39) and Versus (2) will be broadcast in HD (MSG will be in HD in the Buffalo and Rochester markets on Time Warner Cable and DirecTV).
There will also be 12 road games shown in HD this season: five on Versus, and an additional six New York-area road telecasts against the Rangers, Devils and Islanders on MSG. The Sabres also currently appear on NBC’s flex schedule for March 21 at Carolina.
For the six New York-area HD games, fans will be able to hear the Sabres’ broadcast team of Rick Jeanneret and Harry Neale, with the production originating from the local MSG crew in HD.
Rick Jeanneret and Harry Neale return to call the action for all MSG telecasts. Currently the longest-tenured broadcaster in hockey, the 2009-10 season marks Jeanneret's 38th year with the Sabres. This will be Neale’s third year on the Sabres broadcast crew, after joining the team at the start of the 2007-08 season.
Once again this season, The Lexus Shootout can be seen following every Sabres home telecast on MSG. Host Kevin Sylvester will be joined by Rob Ray and Mike Robitaille for complete post-game analysis and player interviews. The Lexus Postgame Show, hosted by Kevin Sylvester, featuring highlights and exclusive interviews can be seen following every MSG Network road telecast.
