One Sabres player will visit each school, along with Sabretooth to read the book “Hat Tricks Count” by Matt Napier. Three students from each selected school will be recognized for their excellence in reading. Those recognized students will receive a special autograph from the player visiting their school, while having the opportunity to assist the player in reading to their classmates.
- The following nine schools were selected to participate in the program:
- Heim Elementary School- Williamsville School District
- Harry F. Abate Elementary School- Niagara Falls School District
- Jefferson Elementary School- Buffalo Public Schools
- Park School of Buffalo- Amherst School District
- Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament- Lancaster
- Mullen Elementary School- Tonawanda School District
- Hillview Elementary School- Lancaster School District
- Harris Hill Elementary School- Clarence School District
- West Seneca East Elementary School- West Seneca School District
