Toni Lydman has officially joined the list of Buffalo Sabres defensemen heading to the 2010 Olympics.

Along with Henrik Tallinder and Andrej Sekera, Lydman is set to head to Vancouver this February - to compete in his second Winter Games as part of Team Finland.

The blueliner, who previously represented the team in 2006, is one of 15 players returning to defend Finland's silver medal.

Lydman notched an assist and 10 PIM in eight games with the Finnish squad in Turino.

The Sabres may still have more members heading to Vancouver in February.

Team Canada and Germany will announce their final rosters later today while Team USA will announce its roster Jan. 1.

Ryan Miller will likely be the starting goaltender for Team USA while Paul Gaustad and Tim Connolly have been in the mix and under consideration for the squad, while Derek Roy has been under consideration for Team Canada.
