STAT COUNT: HENRIK TALLINDER

The point-range that Tallinder’s plus-minus rating improved in one season. In 2008-09, the defenseman was rated a minus-2… In the 2009-10 campaign, Tallinder finished with a plus-13 rating. The stat was second on the team to only Jochen Hecht (+14) and was the highest plus-minus rating for the blueliner since 2006-07 when he was a plus-19.

Points Tallinder scored in 2009-10, including 16 assists. The defenseman nearly beat his career high of 21 points (6+15) from the 2005-06 season and topped his 2008-09 totals by eight points (1+11).

Games played in the 2009-10 season. Tallinder has only accomplished the feat of playing in every regular season game once before, in the 2005-06 campaign. Tallinder, along with Jason Pominville and Tyler Myers were the only members of the Buffalo Sabres to do so this year.

 Career point scored January 16, 2010. Tallinder reached the milestone with an assist against the New York Islanders in a 3-2 shootout loss on LI. Tallinder has a total of 108 career points.

Career game played on November 7 against the Boston Bruins. Tallinder has played in a total of 468 career games all with the Buffalo Sabres. The only players on the current roster to have played more games with the Blue and Gold are Adam Mair (498) and Jochen Hecht (480).

 Minutes of ice time logged by Tallinder over the course of the year. The defenseman was second to only Tyler Myers in that category, who recorded 1,946 minutes on ice. Tallinder's total averages to nearly 21 minutes of ice time per game.
