JIM JOHANNSON OF USA HOCKEY TO SPEAK AT POWER PLAY LUNCHEON

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that Jim Johannson, Assistant Executive Director of USA Hockey, will be the guest speaker at the second event in the three-part Power Play Luncheon series at noon on Tuesday, December 7. The luncheon will take place in the HSBC Arena 100 Level Harbour Club.

Prior to the luncheon, Johannson will announce Team USA’s roster for the 2011 World Junior Championship, to be held in Buffalo from December 26, 2010 to January 5, 2011.

Tickets for the event are available for purchase by clicking here. Ticket options include individual tickets priced at $35 and a $300 group option that includes a table for up to 10 people. For questions, contact the HSBC Arena Account Services Office at (716) 855-4444. Attendees will be asked to adhere to a business casual dress code. Free parking will be available in the ramp adjacent to HSBC Arena.

The date of the luncheon has been changed from its originally scheduled date of December 10. Those who have purchased tickets and cannot attend on December 7 can contact Teresa Belbas at (716) 855-4588.

The third and final luncheon will be held at noon on Friday, March 25. The guest speaker will be announced at a later date. The first luncheon of the series featured speakers such as Sabres’ General Manager Darcy Regier and Head Coach Lindy Ruff.
