Buffalo Jr. Sabres General Manager/Head Coach Grant Ledyard today announced the tryout schedule for the team’s 2011-12 Ontario Junior Hockey League season.

The Jr. Sabres will be holding five open tryouts at the Northtowns Center, beginning Saturday, April 9. Each player attending a tryout session will be required to pay a $20 fee and sign a waiver form before they can participate. All interested players are encouraged to visit www.sabres.com/tryout to complete the registration and waiver. Following the open tryouts, the Jr. Sabres will host a two-day, invitation only tryout camp on May 14/15. Players will receive their invites for this camp via email or phone.

The schedule is as follows:

• Saturday, April 9
  Open Scrimmage for 1994/1995 birth years.
  9 a.m. – 11 a.m., Northtowns Center ($20 per skater/with a waiver)
• Friday, April 15
  Open Scrimmage for 1991-95 birth years
  9:30 p.m. – 10:50 p.m., Northtowns Center ($20 per skater/with a waiver)
• Saturday, April 16
  Open Scrimmage for 1991-95 birth years
  9 a.m. – 11 a.m., Northtowns Center ($20 per skater/with a waiver)
• Friday, April 22
  Open Scrimmage for 1991-95 birth years
  9 p.m. - 10:20 p.m., Northtowns Center ($20 per skater/with a waiver)
• Saturday, April 23
  Open Scrimmage for 1995-1991 birth years
  9-11 a.m., Northtowns Center ($20 per skater/with a waiver)
• Saturday May 14/Sunday May 15
  Invitation-Only Tryout Camp -- Players will be notified.

All players interested in attending a tryout for the Junior Sabres must completely fill out the player information form so they can be contacted by team management.
