    • The Sabres are 13-4-4 since Terry Pegula became owner on Feb. 22
    • The Sabres haven’t lost consecutive games since Feb. 18-20
    • The Sabres are 42-for-45 on the penalty kill over the past 14 games
    • Mike Weber has 18 hits and 8 blocked shots in his last three games
    • Tampa Bay goaltenders Dwayne Roloson and Mike Smith have a combined career record of 3-9-3 against Buffalo
    • Marc-Andre Gragnani scored his first career NHL goal in overtime Sunday
    • Jhonas Enroth has gotten points in his last six starts and is 7-2-2 this year
    • Buffalo’s defensemen have combined for 39 goals, the most since 1990-91
    • Buffalo has sold out 11 straight home games; 21 this season.
  • COMEBACK KIDS
The Sabres were 10 points out of playoff position on Jan. 17. If Buffalo can maintain their current playoff position, they will become the first team to overcome a double-digit point deficit to make the playoffs since the St. Louis Blues did it in 2008-09.
  • SECOND-HALF SURGE
-Buffalo scored 105 goals through the first 41 games of the season. Through the first 38 games of the second half, they have already scored 115.
-The Sabres’ top five goal scorers in the first half were Vanek (16), Stafford (14), Leopold (10), Roy (10) and Ennis (9).
-Their second-half leaders are Stafford (16), Gerbe (13), Pominville (12), Vanek (12) and Ennis (10).
  • WEBER’S A HIT FOR BUFFALO
Mike Weber leads the Sabres with 150 hits despite playing in only 55 games this season. His 2.73 hits per game average ranks him 23rd in the NHL among players who have appeared in at least 50 games and is the highest average by any Sabre since the lockout.
  • OVERTIME OVERLOAD
Buffalo has tied an NHL record with 18 games decided in overtime this season. The Sabres have gone 9-9 in those games. The 18 games tie Boston’s NHL record from the 2001-02 season, when the Bruins had an identical 9-9 OT record. The Sabres’ previous franchise high was 11, set in 2002-03.
  • SHOOTING GALLERY
The Sabres have out-shot their opponents in 45 of 79 games this year. Their average of 33.0 shots per game is the most by a Sabres team since 1975-76 (34.0) and ranked them fourth in the league entering play Monday. The Sabres had the eighth-best shot differential in the league before Monday’s games, at plus-2.3 per game. If they maintain this differential, it will be their best since 1984-85 (plus-5.20).
