A tournament-record 200 teams took part in the 10th annual Buffalo Sabres Street HockeyFest this past weekend at HSBC Arena. While Saturday’s participants enjoyed clear skies and glorious sunshine, Sunday’s teams had to endure intermittent drizzle and the first rain delays in the event’s 10-year history. An estimated 3,000 spectators took in the two days of action. The tent sale inside the arena also raised over $3,000 for the Sabres Foundation, with fans taking home locker stalls, tables, chairs and other arena memorabilia.
