On Sunday, February 26, the Buffalo Sabres Foundation hosted its first “Bowl-a-Rama” at Transit Lanes, with more than $40,000 being raised for the Sabres Foundation.

The Sabres, Sabres Alumni and on-air broadcast personalities had a chance to show off their bowling skills as each member was paired with one of the 32 teams. DJ Nicholas Picholas was the event host, and throughout the afternoon encouraged the participants to challenge the players at the Celebrity Gold Pin lane as they bowled one on one frames against some lucky guests. The event also featured a silent auction, Buy it Now Table, prizes, buffet and an open bar.

When it was all said and done, The Turkey Gobblers took home first place, JW Danforth in second and the U&S Services team finishing in third. The group from Camp Good Days brought up the rear in last place and collected a bag of “slug” jerseys as their prize.
