28th SUPER SUNDAY RESULTS

The top high school hockey teams in Western New York faced-off on Sunday, February 26 at First Niagara Center in the 28th annual Super Sunday High School Hockey Championships. More than 5,000 fans were in attendance throughout the day to see six champions crowned.

FEDERATION LARGE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Niagara-Wheatfield 4 - Williamsville North 0
Niagara-Wheatfield goalie Alex Kammerer made 33 saves in the shutout for the Falcons.

FEDERATION SMALL SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Kenmore East 9 - Williamsville East 2
Taylor Davis, Andrew Sturtz and Don Battista all finished with two goals for the Bulldogs.

FEDERATION PRIVATE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP:
St. Francis 4 - Canisius 1
St. Francis goals: Bernardino Lettieri, David Kulczyk, Matthew Higgins, Jeff Magavern

CLUB SMALL SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Starpoint 5 - Cheektowaga 2
Dylan Lampka, Steven Pierre-Louis, Tony Perez, Veikko Mielonen and Kyle Griffin

CLUB MIXED SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Iroquois/Alden 9 - City Honors/Cardinal O'Hara - 3
Peter Guido collected two goals and two assists

CLUB LARGE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Hutch Tech 5 - St. Francis 2
Ed Shantler and Tom Skura each scored twice
