The Buffalo Sabres held their 10th annual Street Hockeyfest on Sunday, August 19, and more than 175 teams participated in the 17-and-under street hockey tournament. Washington and Perry Streets were packed from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with more than 3,000 players, spectators and volunteers. All participants received a Buffalo Sabres Street Hockeyfest T-shirt and hat. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Buffalo Sabres Foundation. The champions for each division are as follows:

Micron Division

• Winner: Funky Monkeys
• Runner-up: Clarence Puck Hogs B

Mite Division

• Winner: Rebels
• Runner-up: Wheatfield Warriors

Squirt Division

• Winner: Avengers
• Runner-up: 4th Line Heroes

Pee Wee Division

• Winner: Black Ice
• Runner-up: Sauce

Bantam Division

• Winner: Mighty Ducklings
• Runner-up: Summerfield Spartans

Midget Division

• Winner: Wu-Tang Clan
• Runner-up: Dudes with Sticks

Girls 17u Division

• Winner: The Superhero Squad
• Runner-up: The Whalers
