SABRES GAME-WORN THIRD JERSEYS UP FOR AUCTION
Online auction runs until December 15 at 9 p.m.
The Buffalo Sabres today announced they will be holding an online auction of the team’s game-worn third jerseys from the Nov. 24 and Nov. 27 contests against the Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens, respectively. These two games marked the first time the jerseys were ever worn.
The auction will begin Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. and run until Sunday, Dec. 15 at 9 p.m. Fans can access the auction and place a bid by logging onto the auction section of NHL.com. All proceeds will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a New York State not for profit corporation that is committed to stimulating, supporting and encouraging organizations that serve Western New York which are committed to youth hockey initiatives; the health, wellness and education of underprivileged /disadvantaged youth and military personnel; and physically and mentally challenged athlete, by providing financial generosity and other platforms for their endeavors.
