The Buffalo Sabres today announced that the team will host the 10th-annual Buffalo Sabres Corporate Hockey Challenge on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at First Niagara Center.

The Buffalo Sabres Corporate Hockey Challenge is a 3-on-3 hockey tournament held annually at First Niagara Center that pairs Sabres Alumni with members of participating companies in a tournament to raise money for the Buffalo Sabres Foundation. Each team includes seven players as well as one member of the Sabres Alumni, with each player receiving a special Corporate Challenge themed gift.

A representative from the participating teams will be invited to attend Buffalo’s home game on Wednesday, Feb. 5 against the Pittsburgh Penguins with one guest. At the game, the teams will participate in a live “Alumni Draft” in which they will select the former Sabres player that will join their team for the tournament.

The teams will take the ice on Thursday, Feb. 13 at First Niagara Center, with the entire tournament taking place on that day. The day will be capped with a happy hour and dinner for all of the participants, with a chance to tell their tales of glory as they recap their moments on the Buffalo Sabres home ice.
