DRAFT DAY RADIO COVERAGE
When the first day of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft rolls around on Friday, June 27, Sabres fans will be able to listen to an entire day of hockey talk on WGR 550.

When the first day of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft rolls around on Friday, June 27, Sabres fans will be able to listen to an entire day of hockey talk on WGR 550. The flagship station of the Sabres Radio Network will air 17 consecutive hours of live programming that day beginning with the Howard Simon Show at 6 a.m.

Sabres Hockey Hotline will extend from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and there will be a live three-hour draft special from 6:30-9:30 p.m. hosted by Kevin Sylvester at First Niagara Center.

Here’s a look at the complete schedule for June 27:

  • 6-10 a.m. – Howard Simon Show
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Sabres Hockey Hotline w/ Kevin Sylvester & Andrew Peters
  • 2-6:30 p.m. – Schopp and the Bulldog
  • 6:30-9:30 p.m. – 2014 Draft Show hosted by Kevin Sylvester, with analysis from Kris Baker, Andrew Peters, Rob Ray and Danny Gare. In addition, Paul Hamilton and Brian Duff will call-in live from Philadelphia.
  • 9:30-11 p.m. – Post-Draft coverage with Matthew Coller
