The impact of the Buffalo Sabres and their players extends far beyond the ice and into our community.  Throughout the Sabres organization, there is a sincere and strong commitment to giving back to Western New York to help those who are less fortunate.

The Sabres Care program highlights the many different ways that the Buffalo Sabres organization and players support the local community.  From holding food and clothing drives, to visiting with sick children at area hospitals, the Buffalo Sabres are proud to give back to the community that has loyally supported the organization for almost 40 years.

Many Sabres players are involved with organizations that serve our community.  We encourage you to take the time to learn more about these important community assets or to consider supporting one or more of the following groups:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo
Since 1926, Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social, and family circumstances. Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo serves 8,000 youth between the ages of 6-18.

HITS Foundation
The mission of the HITS Foundation is to provide financial, facility and program
support for underprivileged children and adults. We offer opportunities for recipients to participate in activities that would otherwise be unavailable to them.
The HITS Foundation enhances their quality of life and enriches the lives of the
families and friends that support them.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute
America's first cancer center founded in 1898 by Dr. Roswell Park, RPCI has made fundamental contributions to reducing the cancer burden and has successfully maintained an exemplary leadership role in setting the national standards for cancer care, research and education.

The Steadfast Foundation
The Steadfast Foundation is dedicated to assisting those afflicted and affected by the consequences of cancer, and especially childhood forms of the disease. Our goal is to use our resources to provide patients and their families support to help improve their circumstances and attitude and give them the best environment and a better ability to battle the disease.
