The 2013 CORPORATE CHALLENGE IS SET!
The Buffalo Sabres today announced that the team will host the ninth-annual Buffalo Sabres Corporate Hockey Challenge on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at First Niagara Center.
The Buffalo Sabres Corporate Hockey Challenge is a 16-team, 3-on-3 hockey tournament held annually at First Niagara Center that pairs Sabres Alumni with members of participating companies in a 16-team tournament to raise money for the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
Representatives from the participating teams will be invited to attend Buffalo’s home game on Saturday, Feb. 23 against the New York Islanders with one guest. At the game, the teams will participate in a live “Alumni Draft” in which they will select the former Sabres player that will join their team for the tournament.
The teams will take the ice on Thursday, Feb. 28 at First Niagara Center, with the entire tournament taking place on that day from 8-5 pm. The day will be capped with a happy hour and dinner for all of the participants, with a chance to tell their tales of glory as they recap their moments on the Buffalo Sabres home ice. In conjunction with the Aces and Blades fundraiser, the Corporate Challenge pairs Sabres Alumni with members of participating companies in a 16-team tournament to raise money for the Sabres Foundation.
