The Buffalo Sabres (1-0) begin a stretch of four games in five days as they travel to the Bell Centre in Montreal tonight to face the Canadiens (0-1). Game time is 7:30 p.m. (Radio only - WGR 550) This is also the first of five road games for Buffalo during the 2011 preseason. Buffalo opened the preseason with a 3-1 win over Carolina on Monday, while Montreal dropped a 6-3 decision at home to Dallas last night.
The trio of Marcus Foligno, Zack Kassian and Luke Adam will be in the lineup again tonight - but not together. Foligno and Kassian will be centered by Matt Ellis, while Adam will start between Nathan Gerbe and Brad Boyes. Head coach Lindy Ruff says it's just a matter of getting a new perspective on the team's young players.
"It's taking a different look with different players," Ruff explains. "We want to see what Luke can do in some different situations. We're going to try some guys with different players and see what they look like."
