GAME RECAP
David Krejci and Nathan Horton each had a goal and an assist in the third period, leading the Boston Bruins to a 2-0 blanking of the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday at First Niagara Center. Bruins’ netminder Anton Khudobin made 26 saves to earn his second career shutout.

The loss snapped Buffalo five-game point streak (3-0-2) at home, and dropped their overall record to 13-17-6. Combined with Philadelphia’s overtime win against Washington, the Sabres find themselves in 13th place in the Eastern Conference with 32 points, three behind the New York Rangers for eighth spot. The Bruins are fourth in the conference with 48 points, and trail Montreal by one point for the Northeast Division lead.

Ryan Miller stopped 29 Bruins’ shots in the loss, and his record now stands at 11-5-5.

The Sabres and Bruins have split the first four games of their season series, with the rubber match coming up on April 17 in Boston.

MILLER TIES THE DOMINATOR

played in his 491st NHL game tonight, placing him in a tie atop the franchise list with Dominik Hasek for most games played by a goaltender.
